A fuel for solid electrolyte fuel cell that enables inhibiting crossover, thereby realizing high output of fuel cell and high fuel efficiency. A substance that does not permeate solid polymer electrolyte membrane (114) is dissolved in fuel (124). Thus, an osmotic pressure directed from oxidizer electrode (108) to fuel electrode (102) is generated at the interface of the fuel (124) of the fuel electrode (102) and the solid polymer electrolyte membrane (114). Therefore, the migration of water from the fuel electrode (102) to the oxidizer electrode (108) can be inhibited, thereby enabling fuel crossover.

L'invention concerne un combustible destiné à une pile à combustible à électrolyte solide qui permet d'inhiber la transition et, par conséquent, d'obtenir un rendement élevé de la pile à combustible et une efficacité élevée du combustible. Une substance, qui ne pénètre pas la membrane électrolyte polymère solide (114), est dissoute dans le combustible (124). Ainsi, une pression osmotique, dirigée de l'électrode à oxydant (108) vers l'électrode à combustible (102), se produit à l'interface du combustible (124) de l'électrode à combustible (102) et de la membrane électrolyte polymère solide (114). En conséquence la migration de l'eau de l'électrode à combustible (102) vers l'électrode à oxydant (108) peut être inhiber, ce qui facilite la transition du combustible.

 クロスオーバーを抑制することが可能な固体電解質型燃料電池用燃料を提供し、燃料電池の高出力化及び高燃料効率化を実現する。燃料124中に固体高分子電解質膜114を透過しない物質を溶解させる。これにより、燃料極102中の燃料124と固体高分子電解質膜114との間の界面において、酸化剤極108から燃料極102への方向の浸透圧が生じる。そのため、燃料極102側から酸化剤極108側への水分の移動が抑制されることから、燃料のクロスオーバーを抑制することが可能となる。
