A friction property measuring method for non-contact type recording mediums is such that, with a ball (13) contacted with the surface of a recording medium (1) to apply a given load thereto, the recording medium (1) and the ball (13) are slid at a given relative speed and a pulling force (F) produced on the ball (13) is detected to thereby measure the friction property on the surface of the recording medium (1), in which measurement a resin ball (13) is used. This makes possible a low-cost accurate measurement of the friction property on the surface of the recording medium (1).

L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure de friction pour supports d'enregistrement sans contact, ledit procédé consistant à appliquer, à l'aide d'une bille (13) mise en contact avec la surface d'un support d'enregistrement (1), une sollicitation donnée sur ce dernier; à faire coulisser le support d'enregistrement (1) et la bille (13) à une vitesse relative donnée; et à détecter une force de traction (F) produite sur la bille (13) pour permettre de mesurer ainsi la friction exercée sur la surface du support d'enregistrement (1), une bille de résine (13) étant utilisée pour réaliser ladite mesure. Il est ainsi possible de mesurer, de façon économique et précise, la friction exercée sur la surface du support d'enregistrement (1).

この発明に係る非接触型記録媒体についての摩擦特性測定方法は、記録媒体(1)の表面にボール(13)を一定の荷重で接触させた状態で記録媒体(1)とボール(13)とを一定の相対速度で摺動させると共にボール(13)に生じる引っ張り力(F)を検出することによって記録媒体(1)における表面の摩擦特性を測定する際に、樹脂で形成したボール(13)を用いて測定する。これにより、記録媒体(1)における表面の摩擦特性を低コストで、かつ正確に測定することができる。
