Abstract
(EN)
A flame retardant molding composition formed from components comprising A) at least one thermoplastic polyester homopolymer or copolymer or a blend of either or both of them; B) at least one halogen-containing bisimide flame retardant; C) at least one bromine-containing styrenic polymer having a bromine content of at least 50 wt%; D) at least one antimony oxide flame retardant synergist; and E) optionally, (i) a reinforcing amount of at least one reinforcing filler, or (ü) an effective amount of at least one polymeric antidripping agent, (iii) magnesium hydroxide, or (iv) zinc sulfide, or any two or more of (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv).or both of (i) and (ii).

L'invention porte sur une composition ignifuge à mouler comprenant les composants suivants: A) au moins un homopolymère ou copolymère de polymère thermoplastique ou un mélange de l'un ou des deux; B) au moins un ignifuge de bisimide contenant un halogène; (C) au moins un polymère styrénique contenant au moins 50 % en poids de brome; (D) au moins un ignifuge d'oxyde d'antimoine agissant en synergie, et (E) facultativement: (i) une quantité d'au moins une charge de renfort, ou (ii) une quantité efficace d'au moins un polymère anti-coulures ou (iii) de l'hydroxyde de magnésium, ou (iv) du sulfure de zinc, ou (v) deux ou plus de deux de (i), (ii), (iii), et (iv), ou (i) et (ii).
