An apparatus for measuring inflation pressure of a resilient-walled vessel, e.g. of a vehicle tire associated with an inflation valve (28) and with a rim (26); the apparatus comprises an external, portable member (10) and a pressure sensing member (30), which is separate from the portable member (10) is capable to generate and transmit energy to the pressure sensing (30) member and in response to receive and to process a pressure signal , which depends on the inflation pressure and upon processing of the pressure signal to derive therefrom an inflation pressure value; the pressure sensing member (30) is capable upon receiving energy from the portable member (10) nerate the pressure signal and to transmit it to the portable member (10) ; the portable member (10) comprises a probe (14) capable to create electrical contact between the portable member (10) and the pressure sensing member (30) upon establishing physical contact between the probe (14) and the valve (28); the pressure sensing member is capable to create electrical contact with the rim (26) and with the valve (28).

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de mesurer la pression de gonflage d'un contenant à parois souples, tel qu'un pneu de véhicule, associé à une valve de gonflage (28) et à une jante (26). Le dispositif comprend un élément portatif (10), externe, ainsi qu'un capteur de pression (30) séparé de l'élément portatif (10), disposé à l'intérieur du pneu de manière à être exposé à la pression de gonflage. L'élément portatif (10) sert à produire un signal, à transmettre le signal produit au capteur de pression (30) et, en réponse, à recevoir et à traiter un signal de pression variable selon la pression de gonflage, et, enfin, lors du traitement dudit signal de pression, à dériver du signal une valeur de pression de gonflage. Le capteur de pression (30) sert, lors de la réception du signal transmis par l'élément portatif (10), à produire le signal de pression et à le transmettre à l'élément portatif (10). L'élément portatif (10) comprend une sonde (14) qui, lorsqu'elle est mise en contact physique avec la valve (28), permet d'établir un contact électrique entre l'élément portatif (10) et le capteur de pression (30). Par ailleurs, le capteur de pression permet d'établir un contact électrique avec la jante (26) et avec la valve (28).
