(EN)A catalyst comprising a noble metal and tellurium at the surface of a carbon support is provided. The catalyst may contain an additional promoter, preferably iron. Also provided are methods for preparing such catalysts and processes for the use of such catalysts in liquid phase oxidation reactions, particularly the oxidation of N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid or a salt thereof and the oxidation of formic acid or formaldehyde.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un catalyseur comprenant un métal noble et du tellure à la surface d'un support en carbone. Ce catalyseur peut contenir un promoteur additionnel, de préférence le fer. L'invention porte également sur des procédés de préparation de ces catalyseurs et sur leurs procédés d'utilisation dans des réactions d'oxydation en phase liquide, notamment dans l'oxydation de l'acide N-(phosphonométhyl)iminodiacétique ou d'un sel de celui-ci et dans l'oxydation de l'acide formique ou formaldéhyde.
