Abstract:
(EN) The first invention relates to an image display in which at least one kind of particles or a powdery fluid is sealed in the space between two opposed substrates at least one of which is transparent and the particles or powdery fluid is moved by applying an electric field to the particles or powdery fluid by means of two electrodes of different potentials so as to display an image, wherein a member for sending a signal to be applied to a circuit for image display and a substrate are connected through an anisotropic conductive film and members including electrodes are mounted on the substrate opposed to the transparent substrate. The second to sixth inventions relate to an image display in which an electrode is provided on a substrate with a transparent elastic member interposed therebetween, a reflection preventive layer is provided, the bonding of the substrates through a partition wall is optimized.
(FR) Cette invention concerne d'une part une unité d'affichage d'images dans laquelle au moins une sorte de particules ou un fluide poudreux est enfermé dans l'espace situé entre deux substrats opposés dont au moins un est transparent. Les particules ou le fluide poudreux est déplacé sous l'effet d'un champ électrique appliqué sur les particules ou le fluide poudreux au moyen de deux électrodes de potentiels différents de sorte qu'une image soit affichée. Une unité permettant d'envoyer un signal à appliquer à un circuit pour l'affichage d'une image et un substrat sont connectés au moyen d'un film conducteur anisotrope et des unités comprenant des électrodes sont montées sur le substrat opposé au substrat transparent. Cette invention concerne d'autre part une unité d'affichage d'images comprenant : une électrode placée sur un substrat ; un élément élastique transparent disposé entre l'électrode et le substrat ; ainsi qu'une couche anti-réflexion. Cette invention permet ainsi d'optimiser la liaison des substrats par une paroi de séparation.
(JA) 本発明の画像表示装置の第1発明では、少なくとも一方が透明な対向する2枚の基板間に、1種類以上の粒子群または粉流体を封入し、電位の異なる2種類の電極から粒子群または粉流体に電界を与えて粒子または粉流体を移動させ画像を表示する画像表示装置であって、画像表示の回路へ印加する信号を送る部材と基板との接続が異方性導電フィルムでなされ、かつ電極等の部材が透明基板と対向する側に実装されている。他の本発明の画像表示装置の第2発明~第6発明では、基板表面に透明弾性部材を介して電極を設けたり、反射防止層を設けたり、基板と基板との隔壁を介しての接合の最適化を行ったりしている。
