Abstract:
(EN) A method for iterative hard-input forward error correction is described. A method comprises iteratively decoding a set of hard input data that has been transmitted optically, the set of hard input data having a set of information symbols, each of the set of information symbols encoded with a first forward error correction (FEC) encoding scheme and with a second FEC encoding scheme.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé itératif de correction d'erreurs directe de données factuelles entrantes. Ledit procédé consiste à décoder un ensemble de données factuelles entrantes transmises optiquement et comprenant un ensemble de symboles d'information, chacun des ensembles de symboles d'information étant codé à l'aide d'un premier schéma de codage à correction d'erreurs directe (FEC), et d'un deuxième schéma de codage à correction d'erreurs directe (FEC).
