(EN)Deflection system for a cathode−ray tube comprising a pair of vertical deflection coils and a pair of horizontal deflection coils, the two pairs being electrically insulated by a separator. The system also comprises auxiliary coils modulating the horizontal scan velocity. The support (9) for the auxiliary coils, made of plastic, comprises openings (32) placed under the location (30) of the said auxiliary coils so as to decrease the relative permittivity of the space between these coils and the neck of the tube, which tends to decrease the occurrence of electric arcs in the neck of the tube when switching it on.
(FR)L'invention concerne un système de déviation pour un tube cathodique comprenant une paire de bobines de déviation verticale et une paire de bobines de déviation horizontale, les deux paires étant isolées électriquement par un séparateur. Ledit système comprend également des bobines supplémentaires modulant la vitesse de balayage horizontal. Le support (9) pour les bobines supplémentaires, fabriqué en plastique, comprend des orifices (32) ménagés sous l'emplacement (30) desdites bobines supplémentaires, de façon à diminuer la permittivité relative de l'espace entre lesdites bobines et le col du tube, qui tend à diminuer l'occurrence des arcs électriques dans le col du tube, lorsqu'il est mis en circuit.
