(EN)The invention described herein refers to derivatives of the long pentraxin PTX3 with the sequence indicated in the text, capable of binding to the membranes of inactivated tumour cells. The inactivated tumour cells, bearing on their surface a derivative of PTX3 are used to prepare an autologous vaccine for the treatment of tumours.
