(EN)A method and equipment for measuring vapour flux from a surface (10) e.g. the rate of water loss from human skin, which is useful in the evaluation of the efficiency of the skin/water barrier. It uses a closed cylinder (12), which is placed against the skin and by measuring the temperature and relative humidity within the cylinder by means of sensors (13, 14) positioned adjacent the wall of the cylinder, the water vapour flux can be determined.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé et un équipement permettant de mesurer un flux de vapeur provenant d'une surface (10), par exemple le taux de perte d'eau transépidermique chez l'être humain, utile pour évaluer l'efficacité de la barrière cutanée destinée à maintenir l'hydratation. Le procédé et l'équipement de l'invention mettent en oeuvre un cylindre fermé (12) placé contre la peau, et permettent de déterminer un flux de vapeur d'eau par mesure de la température et de l'humidité relative au sein dudit cylindre, au moyen de capteurs (13, 14) positionnés adjacents à la paroi dudit cylindre.
