(EN)A flexible and scalable method for handling telecommunication equipment through the control of ATM access networks, characterized in that the Board Relay (BR) functionality is attributed to any Device Processor (DP) and in that the Central Processor (CP) is connected to all the other Device Processors (DP) by simply addressing the messages to the Board Relay (BR) and relaying them through it. According to this method, the BR board supervises of all the other Device Processors (DP) on behalf of the Central Processor (CP).
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé souple et évolutif permettant de manier des installations de communication par la commande de réseaux d'accès à mode de transfert asynchrone (ATM), qui se caractérise en ce qu'on attribue la fonctionnalité de la carte relais (BR) à n'importe quel processeur de dispositif (DP) et en ce qu'on connecte le processeur central (CP) à tous les autres processeurs de dispositif (DP) simplement en adressant les messages à la carte relais (BR) et en les relayant par l'intermédiaire de celle-ci. Selon ce procédé, la carte BR supervise tous les autres processeurs de dispositif (DP) pour le compte du processeur central (CP).
