(EN)A microwave antenna (12) for an aircraft including a reflector element (18) with a front surface (20) and a rear surface (22). A horn (28) is mounted to the front surface (20) of the reflector element (18) and an orthomode transducer (34) is mounted to the rear surface (22) of the reflector element (18). The orthomode transducer (34) is coupled to the horn (28). Solid state power amplifiers (38, 40) that amplify a microwave signal to be transmitted and low noise amplifiers (42, 44) that amplify a received microwave signal are coupled to the orthomode transducer (34). The solid state amplifiers (38, 40) and the low noise amplifiers (42, 44) are also located on the rear surface (22) of the reflector element (18).
(FR)La présente invention concerne une antenne hyperfréquence (12) d'avion dont le réflecteur (18) définit une face antérieure (20) et une face postérieure (22). La face antérieure (20) du réflecteur (18) comporte un cornet (28), la face postérieure (22) comportant une jonction orthomode (34) couplée au cornet (28). Par ailleurs, la jonction orthomode (34) est couplée, d'une part à des amplificateurs de puissance à transistors (38, 40) amplifiant le signal hyperfréquence d'émission, et d'autre part à des amplificateurs faible bruit (42, 44) amplifiant le signal hyperfréquence de réception.
