Abstract

An organic EL element (100) emits light including blue component, green component and red component. A blue color filter (420) allows only the blue component to transmit. A green color conversion member (340) converts the blue component into the green component, and a green color filter (440) allows only the green component to transmit. A red color conversion member (360) converts the blue component and the green component into the red component, and a red color filter (460) allows only the red component to transmit. Because the color filters (420, 440 and 460) shut off unnecessary color components, reproducibility of each color is improved. In addition, white balance is improved because the light emitted from the organic EL element (100) includes the green component and the red component in addition to the blue component. Thus, it is possible to provide a color light emitting device capable of emitting the light of improved three primary colors.

La présente invention concerne un élément électroluminescent organique (100) produisant une lumière à composante bleue, à composante verte, et à composante rouge. Un filtre coloré bleu (420) ne laisse passer que la composante bleue. Un convertisseur à couleur verte (340) convertit en composante verte la composante bleue, un filtre coloré vert (440) ne laissant passer que la composante verte. Un convertisseur à couleur rouge (360) convertit en composante rouge la composante bleue et la composante verte, un filtre coloré rouge (460) ne laissant passer que la composante rouge. En coupant les composantes couleur non nécessaires, les filtres colorés (420, 440, 460) améliorent la reproductibilité de chaque couleur. On obtient en outre une meilleure balance des blancs du fait que la lumière produite par l'élément électroluminescent organique (100) comprend non seulement la composante bleue, mais également la composante verte ainsi que la composante rouge. L'invention permet ainsi la réalisation d'un dispositif émettant de la lumière de couleur, plus pertinent pour les trois couleurs primaires.
