Abstract
(EN) An active noise cancellation system (20) for use with an assembly (22) includes adjusting the phase of a reference signal an amount that corresponds to a change in phase of the noise (26) within the system. A non-acoustic sensor (44) provides a signal regarding a position or frequency of a source of noise (28) (i.e. RPM's of a vehicle engine). Control electronics (32) provide a reference signal to the system noise canceling actuator (30) (i.e., a speaker) that includes the phase adjustment responsive to the sensor signal. In one example, the reference signal is delayed an amount of time corresponding to the phase change in the noise (26) as it travels through the system (22). In another example, the phase angle is adjusted.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de suppression de bruit actif (20) utilisable avec un ensemble (22), qui permet d'ajuster la phase d'un signal de référence en fonction de tel ou tel changement de phase du bruit (26) dans le système. Un capteur non acoustique (44) fournit un signal de position ou de fréquence correspondant à une source de bruit (28) (par exemple, nombre de tours/minute pour un moteur de véhicule). Une unité électronique de commande (32) fournit à l'actionneur de suppression de bruit du système (30) (par exemple, haut-parleur) un signal de référence qui intègre l'ajustement de phase correspondant au signal du capteur, A titre d'exemple, le signal de référence peut subir un retard dont la durée correspond au changement de phase du bruit (26) qui se propage dans le système (22), ou bien encore c'est l'angle de phase qui peut être ajusté.
