(EN)The invention concerns the fluorescence spectroscopy identification of potential differences existing in the gene pool of sample cells relative to that of standard cells. The method consists in determining and comparing the wavelength values for which is obtained a maximum number of emissions corresponding to two peaks located in the same ranges of specific wavelengths, a function of excitation wavelengths, and in identifying the difference existing between the gene pool of the sample cells and of the standard cells based on the potential variation observed between the values of said two peaks. For example, in the case of corn cells, the two peaks are located respectively in ranges between 410 and 440 nm and between 528 and 535 nm, for excitation wavelengths ranging between 280 and 310 nm. For the reference standard corn cells the values of the first peak range from 414 to 420 nm, whereas the values of the second peak remain substantially constant at 535 nm. The sample cells are identified as being genetically modified cells when: a) the values of the second peak remain substantially constant and at less than 535 nm and b) the values of the first peak are substantially constant and range between 420 and 425 nm, and the sample cells are identified as sweet corn cells when: a) the values of the second peak are not more than 535 nm and b) the values of the first peak are of the order of 430 nm.
(FR)Le procédé concerne l'identification par spectroscopie de fluorescence de différences éventuelles existant dans le patrimoine génétique de cellules échantillons par rapport à celui de cellules étalons. On détermine et on compare les valeurs de longueurs d'ondes pour lesquelles on obtient un maximum d'émissions correspondant à deux pics situés dans des plages de longueurs d'ondes déterminées, fonction des longueurs d'ondes d'excitation, et on identifie la différence existant entre le patrimoine génétique des cellules échantillons et des cellules étalons en fonction de l'écart éventuel constaté entre les valeurs des deux dits pics. Par exemple, s'agissant de cellules de maïs, les deux pics sont situés respectivement dans les plages comprises entre 410 et 440 nm et entre 528 et 535 nm, pour des longueurs d'onde d'excitation comprises entre 280 nm (spectre 'a') et 310 nm (spectre 'i').
