(EN) A polyester based fiber which is prepared by subjecting a composition obtained by melting and kneading a polyalkylene terephthalate or a copolymerized polyester containing a polyalkylene terephthalate as a primary component(A), a polyarylate (B) and a phosphite type compound (C) to a melt spinning, to form a fiber. In the above melting and kneading, the component (C) suppresses the transesterification of the components (A) and (B), which results in the formation of irreguralities on the surface of the fiber due to the presence of (B) component, leading to the occurrence of matting effect and the control of the degree of gloss in the resultant artificial hair, together with the retention of excellent heat resistance, fiber properties such as high tensile strength and elongation, and good setting characteristics which are inherent in a conventional polyester fiber; and an artificial hair using the polyester based fiber.
(FR) L'invention concerne une fibre polyester dont le procédé de fabrication consiste à soumettre à un filage par fusion une composition obtenue par fusion et pétrissage d'un poly(téréphtalate d'alkylène) ou d'un polyester copolymérisé contenant un poly(téréphtalate d'alkylène) comme composant primaire (A), un polyarylate (B) et un composé de type phosphite (C). Dans ledit procédé de fusion et de pétrissage, le composé (C) inhibe l'interestérification des composés (A) et (B), ce qui entraîne la formation d'irrégularités sur la surface de la fibre en raison de la présence du composant (B). Ceci permet d'obtenir un effet de matité et de régler le degré de brillance des cheveux artificiels obtenus, tout en conférant à ces derniers une excellente résistance thermique, des propriétés de fibres telles que la résistance à la traction et à l'étirement, ainsi que de bonnes caractéristiques de fixage inhérentes aux fibres polyester classiques. L'invention concerne en outre des cheveux artificiels à base de ladite fibre polyester.
