(EN)A method of efficiently producing reduced coenzyme Q10 having excellent qualities which is useful in foods, foods with nutrient function claims, foods for specific health uses, nutritional supplements, tonics, animal drugs, drinks, feeds, cosmetics, drugs, remedies, preventives and so on. This method is suitable for industrial production thereof. Namely, reduced coenzyme Q10 can be handled in a state of being protected from oxidation due to molecular oxygen by bringing the coenzyme Q10 into contact with a solvent containing a strong acid. By crystallizing in the presence of a strong acid, moreover, coenzyme Q10 can be converted into crystals while minimizing the formation of the oxidized coenzyme Q10 as a by−product, thereby giving reduced coenzyme Q10 having excellent qualities.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire une coenzyme Q10 réduite aux caractéristiques remarquables dont l'emploi convient pour des produits alimentaires, des aliments à fonction nutritive, des denrées alimentaires répondant à des exigences de santé spécifiques, des suppléments nutritionnels, des sodas, des médicaments à usage vétérinaire, des boissons, des aliments, des cosmétiques, des médicaments, des remèdes, des agents prophylactiques, etc. Ce procédé est applicable à l'échelon industriel. On peut protéger l'enzyme Q10 réduite contre l'oxydation due à l'oxygène moléculaire en mettant ladite enzyme en contact avec un solvant renfermant un acide fort. De plus, la cristallisation de la coenzyme Q10 en présence d'un acide fort permet de transformer cette enzyme en cristaux tout en limitant la formation d'enzyme Q10 oxydée secondaire, ce qui confère à la coenzyme Q10 réduite des qualités remarquables.
