Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a powder-fluidizing and feeding device (1) for use with coating and spray forming nozzles and guns. The device includes novel provisions for controlling and feeding powder (10) from a hopper (2) to a vibrating bowl (8), for heating and vibrating powders (10) in the hopper (2) to dissipate agglomeration and clumping of the powder (10), and for metering powders (10) from a vibrating bowl (8) to the spray nozzles and guns using a feedback control derived from powder mass loss rate measurements. The device is particularly useful for feeding ultra-fine and nanoscale particles
(FR) L'invention porte sur un dispositif (1) de fluidification et de pulvérisation de poudres utilisé avec des buses et canons pour revêtements et pour former des aérosols. Le dispositif comporte nouveaux moyens de contrôle et d'acheminement des poudres (10) d'une trémie (8), à un bac vibrant (8), chauffant et faisant vibrer les poudres (10) présentes dans la trémie (2) pour en désagréger les grumeaux et les agglutinations, et en mesurer le débit entre le bac vibrant et les buses ou canons au moyen d'une commande rétroactive pilotée par la mesure du débit de perte de la poudre. L'invention est particulièrement adaptée à la pulvérisation de particules ultrafines et de nanoparticules
