Abstract:
(EN) The invention features a novel tumor-associated monoclonal antibody which recognizes the mitosis-associated antigen, 4F2. The invention provides methods and antibodies for identifying precancerous cells, mitotic cells, and displastic regions of tumors. The invention further provides methods, kits, and antibodies for inhibiting the proliferation of precancerous and/or endothelial cells, inhibiting tumor derived angiogenesis, inhibiting disorders associated with unwanted endothelial cell proliferation, and detecting the presence of tumor cells in a subject.
(FR) L'invention concerne un nouvel anticorps monoclonal associé à une tumeur reconnaissant l'antigène associé à la mitose, 4F2. L'invention concerne également des méthodes et des anticorps d'identification de cellules précancéreuses, de cellules mitotiques, et de régions displasiques de tumeurs. L'invention concerne en outre des méthodes, des kits et des anticorps permettant d'inhiber la prolifération des cellules précancéreuses et/ou endothéliales, d'inhiber l'angiogenèse dérivée des tumeurs, d'inhiber les troubles associés à la prolifération non désirée des cellules endothéliales, et de détecter la présence de cellules tumorales chez un patient.
