Abstract:
(EN) A video decoder system having a scalable IDCT system. Included is a system for determining a complexity level based on a complexity budget inputted from a local resource controller; and an IDCT system that selects a scaling algorithm from a plurality of scaling algorithms, wherein the selected scaling algorithm corresponds to the determined complexity level. Each of the plurality of scaling algorithms provides a unique data-pruning pattern for processing DCT data.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de décodeur vidéo comprenant un système de transformation en cosinus discrets inverse (IDCT) évolutif. L'invention comprend un système qui permet de déterminer un niveau de complexité sur la base d'un bilan de complexité entré à partir d'un contrôleur de ressources local, et un système IDCT qui choisit un algorithme de mise à l'échelle parmi une pluralité d'algorithmes de mise à l'échelle, l'algorithme de mise à l'échelle choisi correspondant au niveau de complexité déterminé. Chacun des algorithmes de la pluralité d'algorithmes de mise à l'échelle founit un modèle unique d'élagage des données qui permet de traiter les données DCT.
