Abstract
(EN) An improved light-emitting panel having a plurality of micro-components sandwiched between two substrates is disclosed. Each micro-component contains a gas or a gas-mixture capable of ionization when a sufficiently large voltage is supplied across the micro-component via at least two electrodes. An improved method of manufacturing a light-emitting panel is also disclosed, which uses a web fabrication process to manufacturing light-emitting displays as part of a high-speed, continuous inline process.
(FR) L'invention concerne un panneau électroluminescent amélioré comprenant plusieurs micro-composants intercalés entre deux substrats. Chaque micro-composant contient un gaz ou un mélange gazeux ayant un pouvoir ionisant lorsqu'une tension suffisamment grande est appliquée aux bornes du micro-composant par l'intermédiaire d'au moins deux électrodes. On décrit une méthode améliorée de fabrication d'un panneau électroluminescent, qui met en oeuvre un procédé de fabrication de bandes destiné à produire des écrans électroluminescents en tant qu'élément d'un processus intégré continu très rapide.
