Abstract:
(EN) Alzheimer's disease can be diagnosed in vivo using magnetic resonance imaging. A labeled Aß peptide or its derivative is injected into the patient to be diagnosed, after which the patient is subjected to magnetic resonance imaging. Both pre-amyloid and amyloid plaques can be detected using this method.
(FR) Selon l'invention, la maladie d'Alzheimer peut être diagnostiquée in vivo au moyen de l'imagerie par résonance magnétique. Un peptide amyloïde ß (Aß) marqué ou un de ses dérivés est injecté dans le patient à diagnostiquer, après quoi, le patient est soumis à l'imagerie par résonance magnétique. Ce procédé permet détecter à la fois les plaques pré-amyloïdes et les plaques amyloïdes.
