Abstract:
(EN) A low-cost nonaqueous-electrolyte secondary battery having a high capacity. It comprises a negative electrode employing as the main negative-electrode active material either lithium metal or a substance capable of occluding/releasing at least lithium ions, a separator, a positive electrode, and an electrolyte, wherein the active material for the positive electrode comprises crystalline particles of an oxide containing two transition metal elements in substantially the same proportion, the crystalline particles having a layered crystal structure and the oxygen atoms as a component of the oxide having cubic closest packing arrangement.
(FR) L'invention concerne un accumulateur à électrolyte non-aqueux bon marché présentant une capacité élevée. L'accumulateur décrit dans cette invention comprend une électrode négative utilisant, en tant que principal matériau à électrode négative, soit un métal lithium, soit une substance pouvant renfermer/libérer au moins des ions lithium; un séparateur, une électrode positive, et un électrolyte, le matériau active pour l'électrode positive comprenant des particules cristallines d'un oxyde contenant deux éléments métalliques de transition dans des proportions sensiblement identiques. Les particules cristallines présentent une structure cristalline en couches, et les atomes d'oxygène, en tant que composants de l'oxyde, présentent un arrangement à configuration serrée cubique.
