Abstract
(DE) Die Elektrode einer elektrochemischen Anordnung besteht aus einer elektrisch gut leitenden, strukturierten Trägerschicht (3) und einer damit elektrisch leitend verbundenen Schicht aus elektroaktivem Material (6), welches bei lonenaustauchreaktionen relativ gro?e Volumenänderungen erfährt, wie etwa Sn. Um mechanische Abtrennungen des elektroaktiven Materials, was beispielsweise bei Batterien zu einem graduellen Verlust an Ladungskapazität bei jedem Ladungszyklus führt, zu vermeiden, besteht die Trägerschicht (3) aus einem dreidimensionalen Gewebe (2) aus elektrisch leitfähigen flexiblen Fäden (1), welche über zumindest einen Großteil der Gewebedicke (5) zumindest bereichsweise mit dem elektroaktivem Material (6) beschichtet sind, womit die Volumenänderungen des elektroaktiven Materials (6) in internen Gewebeverformungen abgefangen werden können.
(EN) The electrode for an electrochemical arrangement comprises a structured support layer (3), with good electrical conductance and a layer of electroactive material (6), electrically connected thereto, which undergoes relatively large volume changes on ion-exchange reactions, such as Sn. In order to avoid a mechanical separation of the electroactive material, which leads, for example, to a gradual loss in charging capacity with each charging cycle in batteries, the support layer (3) comprises a three-dimensional web (2) of electrically conducting flexible fibres (1), which are at least partly coated with the electroactive material (6), over at least a large part of the web thickness (5). The volume changes of the electroactive material (6) are thus retained in the internal web formation.
