Abstract
(EN) Global Positioning System (GPS), Personal Data Assistant (PDA), and wireless communications are combines in order to create a more personalized advertising experience. The invention creates and presents advertising content founded on individual user profiles integrated with the physical geographic location of a consumer. The invention solves the problem of advertising tailored so that it is appropriate to both the user and their current location by including a customer's profile and his / her current location into the advertising message. Also, the invention integrates location tracking, e.g. GPS technology, with a personal electronic calendaring system. Further, an advertising message is more personalized by using a relative address / directions that start from the current customer's location. This information could be provided in the form of driving directions, using the current physical position of the user as a start address.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un système GPS, un assistant numérique personnel (PDA) et un système de communication sans fils, la combinaison des trois permettant de créer un système publicitaire davantage personnalisé. Le système selon l'invention permet de créer et d'offrir un contenu publicitaire fondé sur des profils personnels d'utilisateurs auxquels sont ajoutées des informations sur l'emplacement géographique d'un consommateur. Ce même système permet de résoudre le problème de la publicité personnalisée puisqu'il est conçu de manière à intégrer des informations sur l'utilisateur et son emplacement actuel, en incluant, dans le message publicitaire, un profil de client et l'emplacement actuel de ce dernier / cette dernière. Le système selon l'invention comporte également un système de localisation, par exemple la technologie GPS, comprenant un système d'agenda électronique personnel. Outre cela, il est possible de davantage personnaliser un message publicitaire en utilisant une adresse / direction relative qui part de l'emplacement actuel du client. Ces informations peuvent être fournies sous forme d'indications d'itinéraires, au moyen de l'emplacement géographique actuel de l'utilisateur en tant qu'adresse de départ.
