Abstract:
(EN) An electronic display comprises an electro-optic material (preferably an electrophoretic medium) having a plurality of pixels (14, 16), and separate first (X1), second (Y1, Y2) and third (12) sets of addressing means for addressing these pixels. Each of the pixels is associated with one addressing means in each of the three sets, such that addressing of any specific pixel requires application of signals within predetermined ranges to each of the three addressing means associated with the specific pixel being addressed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un écran électronique comportant un matériau électro-optique (de préférence un support électrophorétique) présentant une pluralité de pixels (14, 16), et des premier (X1), deuxième (Y1, Y2) et troisième (12) ensembles de moyens d'adressage destinés à l'adressage de ces pixels. Chaque pixel est associé à un moyen d'adressage dans chacun des trois ensembles de manière que l'adressage de chaque pixel spécifique nécessite l'application de signaux dans des gammes prédéterminées, à chacun des trois moyens d'adressage associés au pixel spécifique en cours d'adressage.
