Wabenkörper (1) zur chemischen Umsetzung mindestens einer Komponente eines Gasstromes, insbesondere eines Abgasstromes einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, umfassend einen Anströmkanal (2) mit einer Achse (3) und Blechlagen (4), die jeweils in einer Ebene (5) angeordnet sind und zumindest teilweise so strukturiert sind, daß diese Kanäle (6) bilden und für den Gasstrom durchströmbar sind, wobei die Achse (3) und die Ebene (5) einen Winkel (7) zwischen 45 ° und 135 °, insbesondere 70 ° bis 110 ° einschließen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Blechlagen (4) in Umfangsrichtung (8) segmentiert (9) sind. Ein derartiger Radial-Wabenkörper ist besonders einfach herstellbar.

The invention relates to honeycomb bodies (1) for chemically converting at least one component of a gas flow, particularly exhaust gas in an internal combustion engine, comprising a flow channel (2) with an axis (3) and metal sheets (4) which are arranged respectively on a plane (5) and which are at least partially structured in such a way that they form channels (6) enabling the gas flow to flow therethrough. The axis (3) and the plane (5) form an angle (7) of 45° - 135°, particularly 70° - 110°. The invention is characterised in that the metal sheets (4) are segmented (9) in the circumferential direction thereof (8). The inventive radial honeycomb body is particularly easy to produce.

La présente invention concerne un corps à structure en nid d'abeilles (1) permettant la conversion chimique d'au moins un composé d'un flux gazeux, notamment d'un flux de gaz d'échappement issu d'un moteur thermique, ledit corps comprenant un canal d'écoulement (2) présentant un axe (3) et des couches de plaques de métal (4) qui se trouvent respectivement dans un plan (5) et sont au moins partiellement structurées de sorte que celles-ci forment des canaux (6) qui peuvent être parcourus par le flux gazeux, l'axe (3) et le plan (5) formant un angle compris entre 45 ° et 135 °, notamment entre 70 ° et 110 °. L'invention se caractérise en ce que les couches de plaque de métal (4) sont segmentées en direction circonférentielle (8). La réalisation d'un corps à structure en nid d'abeilles radial de ce type est particulièrement simple.
