Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft die Kanalstruktur in einem WLL-System, welches unabhängige Zugangsnetze zum PSTN und Internet vereinigt und dessen Teilnehmerstationen über a/b-Anschluß und Ethernetinterface für direkten Internetzugeng verfügen, die unabhängig voneinander und auch simultan nutzbar sind. Die subsegmentierten IP- und OA & M-Daten und die POTS-Signalisierung werden für jede der Teilnehmerstationen über jeweils eine gemeinsame Layer 2 Verbindung übertragen. Die separierte Übertragung von Nutzdaten der POTS-Verbindungen erfolgt als komprimierte Sprachübertragung, Faxübertragung nach T.38 oder transparente Modemübertragung mit 64kbps mit automatischer Erkennung und Umschaltung. Die Übertragung beider Dienste erfolgt in jeweils gesonderten Traffictypen, welchen jeweils auch unterschiedliche FEC zugewiesen werden können, wobei eine Vielzahl von angepaßter Traffictypen nach einem Baukastensystem aus einem Pool unterschiedlicher Packet Data Units konfigurierbar ist und dynamisch zugewiesen wird. Der Einsatz ist vorteilhaft dort gegeben, wo eine drahtgebundene fernmeldetechnische Infrastruktur nicht kurzfristig, überhaupt nicht oder nur mit hohen Kosten realisierbar ist.

The invention relates to a channel structure in a WLL system which combines independent access networks to the PSTN and the internet and whose subscriber stations are provided with a/b link and Ethernet interface for direct internet access and that can be used independently as well as simultaneously. The subsegmented IP and OA & M data and POTS signals are transmitted for every subscriber station via a common layer 2 link. The separated transmission of user data of the POTS links is carried out as a compressed voice transmission, facsimile transmission according to T.38 or transparent modem transmission with 64 kbps with automatic recognition and transfer. Transmission of both services is carried out in different traffic types to which different FEC can be allocated, whereby a plurality of adapted traffic types can be configured in a modular manner from a pool of different packet data units and is dynamically allocated. The inventive system is preferably used in systems where a wire-based telecommunication structure cannot be put into operation at short notice, or not all or only at high costs.

L'invention concerne une structure de canaux dans un système WLL réunissant des réseaux indépendants d'accès à PSTN et Internet, et dont les postes d'abonnés disposent d'accès Internet directs, via un raccordement a/b et des interfaces Ethernet, qui sont utilisables indépendamment l'un de l'autre ou simultanément. Les données IP et OA & M sous-segmentées et la signalisation POTS sont transmises, pour chacun des postes d'abonnés, via une couche 2 commune pour raccordement. Le transfert séparé des données utiles des raccordements POTS s'effectue sous forme de transfert vocal comprimé, transfert par fax vers T.38 ou transfert modem transparent à 64kbps à détection automatique et commutation. Le transfert des deux services s'effectue dans des types de trafic particuliers respectifs auxquels peuvent être attribués respectivement également un FEC différent, une pluralité de types de trafic pouvant être configurés et attribués dynamiquement, suivant un système modulaire à partir d'un pool d'unités de paquets de données différents. Une utilisation avantageuse est ainsi obtenue dans tous les cas où une infrastructure de télécommunication sur fil n'est pas du tout réalisable à court terme, ou ne peut l'être qu'à un coût élevé.
