Title
(EN) GRANULAR SURFACTANT AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
(FR) AGENT DE SURFACE GRANULAIRE ET SON PROCEDE DE PRODUCTION
Abstract
(EN)
A granular surfactant which is obtained, for example, by dissolving or dispersing all or part of a surfactant in water or warm water to prepare a solution or slurry, spraying the solution or slurry in a fluidized bed into which a hot air is being introduced to thereby simultaneously conduct granulation and drying, classifying the particles obtained in the above step, and removing particles on the smaller-particle-diameter side. Typically, the proportion of particles having a particle diameter of 0.1 mm or smaller in the granular surfactant is 2.0 wt.% or lower, and the surfactant has a median diameter of 0.17 mm or larger. This granular surfactant can be easily produced, has excellent solubility in water, is reduced in dusting, and has flowability.
(FR)
