Abstract

A wideband radio transceiver system (100) that features a wideband RF section and a flexible and scalable baseband signal processing section. The transceiver system architecture has configurable baseband processing to process signals (118) for multiple communication protocol standards (120), or multiple instances of the same communication protocol standard, that operate over the same frequency band. Optional additional features include a transmit carrier suppressor andtransmit interference canceller to suppress the effects of a transmit signal on recieve signal processing when signals are being transmitted and received simultaneously.

L'invention concerne un système (100) émetteur-récepteur radio à bande large comprenant une section RF à bande large et une section de traitement de signaux de bande de base flexible et échelonnable. L'architecture du système émetteur-récepteur comprend un système de traitement de bande de base configurable servant à traiter des signaux (118) pour de multiples normes (120) de protocole de communication, ou de multiples exemples de la même norme de protocole de communication, fonctionnant sur la même bande de fréquence. Parmi les caractéristiques optionnelles supplémentaires, on trouve un suppresseur de porteuse de transmission et un dispositif d'élimination des interférences servant à éliminer les effets d'un signal de transmission sur le traitement d'un signal de réception lorsque les signaux sont transmis et reçus de manière simultanée.
