The accuracy of reading unique information for identifying an optical disc having information layers. The optical disc has first and second information layers (102, 104) for holding information so as to (1) reproduce information or (2) to record/reproduce information by using an incident light beam. The optical disc also has a BCA region provided for the first information layer (102) where individual identification information (106) uniquely given to the optical disc is recorded.

L'invention concerne la précision de lecture d'information unique afin d'identifier un disque optique contenant des couches d'information. Le disque optique contient des première et seconde couches d'information (102, 104) destinées au stockage d'informations de façon à (1) reproduire une information ou (2) enregistrer/reproduire une information au moyen d'un faisceau de rayonnement lumineux incident. Le disque optique comprend aussi une région BCA (découpage en rafales) contenue dans la première couche d'information (102) où est enregistrée une information d'identification individuelle (106) unique donnée au disque optique.
