Abstract

In metallic material injection molding machines, the connection between the injection nozzle and the sprue bushing has tended to leak metallic material. To overcome this problem, the nozzle (13'') has been modified to have a projecting portion or spigot (26) that extends into a mating portion of the sprue bushing (16'') to form a seal between the respective portion walls. The nozzle and sprue bushing can move axially with respect to one another without loss of sealing whereas with the prior designs any separation between confronting annular surfaces on the sprue bushing and the nozzle would result in a loss of sealing and leakage.

Dans les machines de moulage par injection de matière métallique, la connexion entre la buse d'injection et la buse de carotte tend à entraîner des fuites de matière métallique. Afin de pallier ce problème, la buse a été modifiée de manière à avoir une partie saillante ou un ergot s'étendant dans une partie de contact de la buse de carotte, afin de former un joint d'étanchéité entre les parties de parois respectives. La buse et la buse de carotte peuvent se déplacer mutuellement dans le sens axial sans déperdition d'étanchéité, alors que dans les conceptions antérieures, toute séparation entre les surfaces annulaires en présence sur la buse de carotte et la buse entraîne des déperditions d'étanchéité et des fuites.
