(EN)The invention relates to a hardware interface and method which improve the coverage area for a radio system by using several RF devices simultaneously connected to a single baseband via the hardware interface. The hardware interface is adapted to connect the single baseband circuit to the plurality of Radio Frequency (RF) devices simultaneously, via the hardware interface, to receive a signal quality measurement from each of the RF devices that is connected to the baseband circuit to select the RF device having the highest signal quality, and to switch a communication to the selected RF device.
(FR)La présente invention concerne une interface matérielle et un procédé permettant d'améliorer la zone de couverture d'un système radio moyennant plusieurs dispositifs RF connectés simultanément à une bande de base unique via une interface matérielle. Cette interface matérielle est conçue pour relier le circuit de la bande de base unique à la pluralité de dispositifs radiofréquences (RF) simultanément, via l'interface matérielle, pour recevoir une mesure de qualité du signal de chacun des dispositifs RF reliés au circuit de la bande de base pour sélectionner le dispositif RF ayant le signal de meilleure qualité, et pour relier une communication au dispositif RF sélectionné.
