(EN)A polycarbonate which little contains impurities, is excellent in close adhesion to a recording film, and exhibits excellent performance when used as the substrate for an optical or magnetic disc. This polycarbonate is characterized by extractability of less than 1 wt% by 2-ethoxyethyl acetate, that of less than 2 wt% by acetone, and an acetone extract containing aromatic dihydroxyl compounds and carbonic diesters in amounts of 5 to 40 ppm and 50 to 200 ppm by weight respectively based on the polycarbonate.
(FR)L"invention concerne un polycarbonate à faible concentration en impuretés, présentant une excellente capacité d"adhésion sur un film enregistreur et d"excellentes performances lorsqu"il est utilisé comme substrat pour un disque optique ou magnétique. Ce polycarbonate se caractérise par une extractibilité inférieure à 1 % en poids de 2-éthoxyéthylacétate, une extractibilité inférieure à 2 % en poids d"acétone et un extrait acétonique contenant des composés dihydroxyles aromatiques et des diesters carboniques en quantités respectives de 5 à 40 ppm et 50 à 200 ppm en poids sur la base du polycarbonate.
