(EN)The invention concerns a method which consists in applying on keratinous fibres a composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, an efficient amount of a catalytic system comprising a first constituent selected among the salts and oxides of Mn(II) and/or Zn(II) and their mixtures and a second constituent selected among the alkaline hydrogen carbonates, alkaline-earth hydrogen carbonates and their mixtures, the proportions of the first and the second constituent corresponding to the formulae: [Mn(II)]/[HCO¿3?] $m(F) 1 with [Mn(II)] 0; [Zn(II)]/[HCO¿3?] $m(F) 1 with [Zn(II)] 0; [Mn(II) + Zn(II)]/[HCO¿3?] $m(F)[Mn(II) + Zn(II)] 0.
(FR)Le procédé consiste à appliquer sur des fibres kératiniques une composition comprenant dans un milieu physiologiquement acceptable, une quantité efficace d'un système catalytique comprenant un premier constituant choisi parmi les sels et oxydes de Mn(II) et/ou de Zn(II) et leurs mélanges et un second constituant choisi parmi les hydrogénocarbonates alcalin, les hydrogénocarbonates alcalino-terreux et leurs mélanges, les proportions du premier et du second constituant étant telles que la formule (I), Formule (II), Formule (III).
