(EN)A photonic crystal (2) which comprises a material in a gel form and, arranged in the material, a plurality of micro-spheres of silica or barium titanate or micro pores. The application of an external force transforms the photonic crystal (2), which in turn changes the photonic band gap thereof. The change of the photonic band results in the restriction of the transmission of a light having a specific wave length through the photonic crystal, which allows the output of a light of a desired wave length from the photonic crystal (2). The photonic crystal can easily change the wavelength of a light outputted therefrom by the change of an external force applied thereto.
(FR)L'invention concerne un cristal photonique (2) qui comprend un matériau sous forme de gel et, dans ce matériau, une pluralité de micro-sphères de silice ou de titanate de baryum ou de micro-pores. L'application d'une force externe transforme le cristal photonique (2) qui, à son tour, en change la largeur de bande interdite photonique. Le changement de la bande photonique entraîne la restriction de la transmission d'une lumière de longueur d'onde spécifique par le cristal photonique, ce qui permet de faire sortir du cristal photonique (2) une lumière de longueur d'onde souhaitée. Le cristal photonique peut facilement changer la longueur d'onde d'une lumière qui en sort par changement de la force externe appliquée dessus.
