(EN)The invention discloses a new polypeptide- human neural cell adhesion molecule 11.44, the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide, and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technology. It also discloses methods of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various diseases, such as nerve system heteroplasia, neural system dysfunction disease. This invention also discloses antagonist against said polypeptide and thereof therapy uses. In addition, it refers to the use of said polynucleotide encoding this new human neural cell adhesion molecule 11.44.
(FR)L'invention concerne un nouveau polypeptide, une molécule d'adhésion neuronale humaine 11.44, et un polynucléotide codant ce polypeptide ainsi qu'un procédé d'obtention de ce polypeptide par des techniques recombinantes d'ADN. L'invention concerne en outre les applications de ce polypeptide dans le traitement de maladies, notamment de malformations apparaissant durant le développement du système nerveux et de maladies associées aux dysfonctionnements du système nerveux.
