The present invention provides an emergent network (10) that is autonomous at the service level. Network nodes (20) have policies that enable them to process different types of service requests (a,b,c,d), with the processing earning the nodes 'rewards'. Successful nodes can pass some or all of their policies to other nodes using the evolutionary biology of bacteria as a model.

L'invention concerne un réseau émergeant (10) autonome au niveau des services. Les noeuds (20) de réseau ont des politiques qui leur permettent de traiter différents types de demandes de services (a, b, c, d), le traitement gagnant les noeuds 'récompenses'. Les noeuds qui ont réussi peuvent transmettre quelques unes ou l'ensemble de leurs politiques aux autres noeuds en utilisant comme modèle la biologie évolutive des bactéries.
