A disclosed scanner apparatus includes a member having spaced apart proximal and distal portions. An electromagnetic radiation device is configured to direct electromagnetic radiation therefrom and is moveably coupled to the distal portion of the member. The electromagnetic radiation device is configured to move in a first plane of movement to a first position to direct the electromagnetic radiation along a first path and configured to move in the plane of movement to a second position to direct the electromagnetic radiation along a second path. A MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) actuator is coupled to the electromagnetic radiation device, wherein the MEMS actuator is configured to move in a first direction to move the electromagnetic radiation device to the first position and configured to move in a second direction to move the electromagnetic radiation device to the second position. Other scanning and robotic structure devices are disclosed.

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil scanner comportant un élément présentant des parties proximales et distales espacées l'une de l'autre. Un dispositif à rayonnement électromagnétique, qui est conçu pour émettre un rayonnement électromagnétique, est couplé à la partie distale dudit élément de manière à pouvoir se déplacer. Ce dispositif à rayonnement électromagnétique est conçu pour se déplacer dans un premier plan de déplacement jusqu'à une première position de manière à diriger le rayonnement électromagnétique le long d'un premier chemin et il est conçu pour se déplacer dans le plan de déplacement vers une seconde position de manière à diriger le rayonnement électromagnétique le long d'un second chemin. Un actionneur de système microélectromécanique (MEMS) est couplé au dispositif à rayonnement électromagnétique, ledit actionneur de MEMS étant conçu pour se déplacer le long d'une première direction de manière à déplacer le dispositif à rayonnement électromagnétique jusqu'à la première position et il est conçu pour se déplacer le long d'une seconde direction de manière à déplacer le dispositif à rayonnement électromagnétique jusqu'à la seconde position. L'invention se rapporte également à d'autres dispositifs de balayage et à structure robotique.
