Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft spezifische photochrome h-annellierte Benzo[f]chromen-Derivate sowie deren Verwendung in Kunststoffen aller Art, insbesondere für ophthalmische Zwecke. Insbesondere betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung von Benzo[f]chromenen abgeleitete photochrome Verbindungen, die in der offenen Form besondere langwellige Absorptionsmaxima aufweisen, wodurch bei Anwendung in phototropen Gläsern violette bis blaue Farbtöne erreicht werden können.

The invention relates to specific photochromic h-annellated benzo[f]chrome derivatives and the use thereof in all types of plastic material, especially for ophthalmic purposes. The invention relates specifically to photochromic compounds derived from benzo[f]chromenes, said compounds comprising in their open form particular long wave length absorption maxima, whereby a multitude of colours from violet to blue can be produced in applications in phototropic glass.

La présente invention concerne des dérivés de benzo[f]chromène spécifiques, photochromes, h-annelés et leur utilisation dans des matières plastiques de tous types, notamment à des fins ophtalmologiques. Cette invention concerne en particulier des composés photochromes dérivés de benzo[f]chromènes qui présentent dans leur forme ouverte des maxima d'absorption à longueur d'onde particulièrement élevée, ce qui permet d'obtenir des tons de couleur du violet au bleu lors de l'utilisation dans des verres phototropes.
