The present invention provides an active primer that includes an electronically active material dispersed in a binder. The active primer can be disposed between a thermal transfer donor sheet and a receptor to assist selective thermal transfer of a material from the donor sheet to the receptor to form at least a portion of an electronic device on the receptor. The binder of the active primer can be selected to improve adhesion of the transferred material to the receptor, or to enhance other transfer properties. The electronically active material of the active primer can be selected to maintain a desired level of functionality in the electronic device being patterned on the receptor.

L'invention concerne une couche d'accrochage active comportant un matériau électroniquement actif dispersé dans un liant. Cette couche peut être placée entre une feuille tenant lieu de donneur de transfert thermique et un récepteur, afin de contribuer au transfert thermique sélectif d'un matériau depuis la feuille vers le récepteur, ce qui permet de former au moins une partie de dispositif électronique sur le récepteur. Le liant de la couche d'accrochage peut être choisi de manière à améliorer l'adhésion du matériau transféré vers le récepteur ou de manière à améliorer d'autres propriétés de transfert. Le matériau électroniquement actif de la couche d'accrochage peut être choisi de manière à maintenir un niveau de fonctionnalité souhaité dans le dispositif électronique travaillé sur le récepteur.
