Title
(EN) FREQUENCY DOUBLED ND: YAG LASER WITH YELLOW LIGHT OUTPUT
(FR) LASER AU NEODYME-YAG A FREQUENCE DOUBLEE AVEC SORTIE A LUMIERE JAUNE
Abstract
(EN)
A diode-laser-pumped resonator (20) including ari Nd:YAG gain element (30), is arranged to generates fundamental radiation having a wavelength which is one of about 1123 nm, 1116 nm, and 1112 nm. The resonator further includes an optically non-linear crystal (32), which is arranged to frequency-double the fundamental radiation. This will provide second harmonic radiation having a wavelength which is correspondingly one of 562nm, 558 nm, or 556 nm. The resonator may also comprise a wavelength-selective device (34), such as an etalon.
(FR)
