Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de modélisation d'un système complexe, le modèle produit au moyen de ce procédé et un procédé permettant d'optimiser un système complexe par le biais de l'optimisation d'un tel modèle. La première étape du procédé de modélisation consiste à identifier les activités comprises dans le processus. On identifie des paramètres mesurables pour chaque activité. Les coûts associés à chacun de ces paramètres sont identifiés en tant qu'éléments fixes et, si cela est approprié, variables. Chaque activité est ensuite représentée comme une fonction des éléments de coût du paramètre correspondant. On déduit les relations existant entre les paramètres qui correspondent à plusieurs activités et une fonction représentant le processus est établie à partir de ces relations. Le modèle (fonction) ainsi produit(e) est une expression de l'ensemble du processus en termes de variables qui représentent des paramètres pour plusieurs activités du processus. On optimise ce processus modélisé par le biais d'une optimisation du modèle construit comme décrit ci-dessus, en fonction d'un ou plusieurs objectif(s) sélectionné(s). On peut modifier le modèle en changeant les facteurs limitatifs, ce qui permet à l'utilisateur de faire défiler un grand nombre de scénarios de simulation, afin de déterminer quelle est la meilleure solution dans des conditions variables.
