Beschrieben wird ein Kit zur Bestimmung des Redox-Status im Urin umfassend: (a) mindestens ein Reagenz ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), worin R1 für H oder C1-C10-Alkyl steht, und R2, R3 und R4, unabhängig voneinander, für H, C1-C10-Alkyl, C6-C14-Aryl, NH2, NHR, NR2, NHCOR, OH, OR, OCOR, SH, SR, F, Cl, Br, CF3 oder CC13 stehen, wobei Arylgruppen ggf. substituiert sind mit einem oder mehreren Substituenten ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehen aus C1-C6-Alkyl, NH2, NHR, NR2, NHCOR, OH, OR, OCOR, SH, SR, F, Cl, Br, CF3 und CC13 und wobei R jeweils für C1-C6-Alkyl steht und mehrere R-Gruppen ggf. unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden können, (b) mindestens eine Säure und (c) eine Farbskala zum visuellen Farbvergleich, wobei den einzelnen Farben der Skala ein bestimmter Redox-Status des zu untersuchenden Urins zugeordne t ist.

The invention relates to a kit for determining the redox status in urine comprising: (a) at least one reagent chosen from the group of compounds of general formula (I) where R1= H or C1-C10 alkyl, R2, R3 and R4, independently = H, C1-C10 alkyl, C6-C14 aryl, NH2, NHR, NR2, NHCOR, OH, OR, OCOR, SH, SR, F, C1, Br, CF3 or CCl3, where aryl groups are optionally substituted with one or several groups chosen from C1-C6 alkyl, NH2, NHR, NR2, NHCOR, OH, OR, OCOR, SH, SR, F, C1, Br, CF3 and CCl3 and R = C1-C6 alkyl where several R groups may optionally be independently selected, (b) at least one acid and (c) a colour scale for the visual comparison of colours, whereby each individual colour of the scale corresponds to a particular redox state in the urine under investigation.
