Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a system for controlling a computer display in a workspace using an input unit/output unit. A train of EM waves are sent out to flood the workspace. EM waves are reflected from the input unit/output unit. A relative distance moved information signal is created using the EM waves that are reflected from the input unit/output unit. Algorithms are used to convert the relative distance moved information signal to a display signal. The computer display is controlled in response to the display signal.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système pour commander un afficheur d'ordinateur dans un espace de travail en utilisant une unité d'entrée / unité de sortie. Un train d'ondes EM est envoyé vers l'extérieur de manière à inonder l'espace de travail. Les ondes EM sont réfléchies depuis l'unité d'entrée / unité de sortie. Un signal d'informations déplacé sur une distance relative est créé au moyen des ondes EM qui ont été réfléchies depuis l'unité d'entrée / unité de sortie. Des algorithmes appropriés servent à convertir le signal d'informations déplacé sur une distance relative en un signal d'affichage. L'afficheur d'ordinateur est commandé en réaction au signal d'afficheur.
