Abstract
(EN) Additive compositions for improving middle distillate fuel oils comprise (A) from about 35 to about 55 parts by weight of a hydrocarbyl substituted monosuccinimide dispersant containing from about 30 to about 200 carbon atoms in the hydrocarbyl group and (B) from about 75 to about 40 parts by weight of an oil having viscosity ranging from about 100 to about 400 centistokes at 40 °C, fuel compositions comprising a major amount of a middle distillate fuel oil and a sufficient amount of the additive composition to provide from about 35 to about 55 parts by weight of (A) a hydrocarbyl substituted monosuccinimide dispersant containing from about 30 to about 200 carbon atoms in the hydrocarbyl group and from about 75 to about 40 parts by weight of (B) an oil having viscosity ranging from about 100 to about 400 centistokes at 40 °C, per million parts by weight of fuel oil, a method for reducing fouling of fuel oil injectors comprising fueling a device equipped with said injectors with the fuel composition of the invention, and a method of operating a compression-ignition engine comprising providing as the fuel the fuel oil composition of this invention thereby reducing fouling of fuel oil injectors of said engine.
(FR) L'invention porte sur des compositions additives destinées à améliorer les mazouts de distillat moyen et comprenant (A) d'environ 35 à environ 55 parties en poids d'un dispersant monosuccinimide substitué par un hydrocarbyle contenant d'environ 30 à environ 200 atomes de carbone dans le groupe hydrocarbyle et (B) d'environ 75 à environ 40 parties en poids d'un mazout dont la viscosité est comprise entre environ 100 et environ 400 centistokes à 40 °C, des compositions de combustibles comprenant une quantité majeure d'un mazout de distillat moyen et une quantité suffisante de la composition additive pour obtenir d'environ 35 à environ 55 parties en poids de (A) un dispersant monosuccinimide substitué par un hydrocarbyle contenant d'environ 30 à environ 200 atomes de carbone dans le groupe hydrocarbyle et d'environ 75 à environ 40 parties en poids de (B) un mazout dont la viscosité est comprise entre environ 100 et environ 400 centistokes à 40 °C, par parties en million en poids de mazout. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de réduction de l'encrassement des injecteurs de mazout et consistant à alimenter en mazout un dispositif équipé de ces injecteurs avec la composition de combustible de l'invention, ainsi que sur un procédé de fonctionnement d'un moteur à combustion par compression consistant à produire comme combustible la composition de mazout, ce qui réduit l'encrassement des injecteurs du moteur.
