Abstract
(EN) A bit counter (214) counts the codes included in one transmission unit. An importance judging section (217) divides the code quantity counted by the bit counter (214) by the number of coding macroblocks included in one transmission unit to calculate an average code quantity per coding macroblock. A threshold comparing section (220) compares the average code quantity with a threshold calculated from the frame rate and the bit rate to determine the importance of the corresponding transmission unit.
(FR) Un compteur (214) de bits compte les codes inclus dans une unité de transmission. Une unité (217) d'évaluation d'importance divise la quantité de codes comptée par le compteur (214) de bit par le nombre de macroblocs de codage compris dans une unité de transmission de façon à calculer une quantité de codes par macrobloc. Une partie (220) comparaison de seuils compare la quantité moyenne de codes avec un seuil calculé à partir du débit de trame et du débit binaire de façon à déterminer l'importance de l'unité de transmission correspondante.
