Abstract
(EN) A light diffusion structure for lessening the unevenness of luminance by irradiating an article to be treated with UV-rays emitted from a UV-ray discharge tube (50) after diffusing the UV-rays. The light diffusion structure is produced by coating the inner surface of an arc tube (10) with a thin film (11) of white color, making fine irregularities on the inner or outer surface of the arc tube (10), or composing a translucent outer tube (protective tube) (60) containing the discharge tube (50) of a semitransparent (diffusing/transmitting) material. Highly efficient treatment can be ensured by enhancing the sterilizing/cleaning capacity to match the ultraviolet irradiation of a high density ultraviolet light source.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une structure de diffusion de lumière réduisant les irrégularités de luminance lors de l'irradiation d'un article à traiter par les UV émis par un tube à décharge puis diffusés. La structure de diffusion s'obtient en enduisant un tube à arc (10) d'une couche mince (11) blanche et en formant de fines irrégularités sur la surface intérieure ou la surface extérieure du tube (10), ou bien en utilisant un tube extérieur translucide (de protection) (60) renfermant un tube à décharge (50) fait d'un matériau (diffuseur/transmetteur) semi-transparent. On obtient un traitement très efficace du fait de l'accroissement de la capacité de stérilisation/nettoyage adapté au rayonnement d'une source d'UV à haute densité.
