Abstract
(EN) The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for monitoring physiological data using a plethysmograph with thoracic and abdominal inductive coils, which consists in measuring a patient's depth of respiration, in summing (33) said depths of respiration weighted with a respective weight (K1, K2) to obtain a signal representing a breathed volume, and in digitally processing (52, 53, 55, 56) the measured signals to as to extract therefrom at least a physiological quantity among the patient's breathing rate and heart rate.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de surveillance de données physiologiques au moyen d'un pléthysmographe à spires inductives thoraciques et abdominale, qui consiste à mesurer les amplitudes respiratoires d'un patient, à sommer (33) ces amplitudes respiratoires affectées d'un coefficient de pondération respectif (K1, K2) pour obtenir un signal représentatif du volume respiré, et à effecteur un traitement numérique (52, 53, 55, 56) des signaux mesurés afin d'en extraire au moins une autre grandeur physiologique parmi le débit respiratoire et la fréquence cardiaque du patient.
