(EN)A method for controlling gain in a network is provided. The method includes receiving signals for transmission over a network and adjusting the level of the received signals. The method further includes inserting an additional signal indicative of the level adjustment and transmitting the signals and the additional signal over the network. The method also includes extracting the additional signals after transmission over the network and compensating for the level adjustment based on the extracted signal.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de commande du gain dans un réseau. Ce procédé consiste à recevoir des signaux en vue de leur émission par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau, puis à régler le niveau des signaux reçus. Ledit procédé consiste ensuite à insérer un signal supplémentaire indiquant ce réglage de niveau, puis à émettre ces signaux et ce signal supplémentaire via le réseau en question. Il consiste enfin à extraire le signal supplémentaire après cette émission, puis à compenser le réglage de niveau sur la base du signal extrait.
